Very rustic ambience. According to the motto: Shoemaker stay with your lasts ... roast pork warmed up and therefore quite dry, dumplings from the pack (you could see on the mold) with mushroom sauce for 15, -, side salad extra (also to be paid for). ? The remaining 3 dishes of my friends were ok.

Best food from the chef himself and freshly cooked. Very nice atmosphere and finally a Kreut schnapps from the boss personally

The food was delicious, the service friendly. The mask was unfortunately worn by the younger operator on the chin and did not cover the mouth or nose. We were lucky with the timing. The food is freshly prepared and with some orders at the same time, there are probably longer waiting times, as the waitress informed the later guests. The portions were too small for us and the price-performance ratio wasn't right either. However, you sit very nicely right on the canal and it is a traditional restaurant, so I give it four stars.

My husband and I went to dinner at Roskamp today. Already the reservation by phone was very friendly. We ate schnitzel with mushrooms and fried potatoes. And veal liver potato tamof with onions and braised apple. Everything very tasty. No bag pounding but everything like with mom. The guest room is open and you can discover a lot. I like it when rooms have a story. We would love to come back

We had a table reservation as part of an offer from the tourist association. The restaurant has the charm of the old days and you feel like you have been transported back several decades. This takes into account the tradition of the family business in the fifth generation. The taste of the food is very good. I had the dish of plaice fillets Finkenwerder Art with fried potatoes. The potatoes were delicious and fried with bacon. I have to say about the plaice that it was one of the best I have ever eaten. The fish was fried in butter or clarified butter and brought an ideal note to the bacon and onion topping. When asked about a local beer, I was recommended a dark country beer. This tasted very good. Attention: This was only available in a 1 liter bottle. However, the owner indicated that you can take the bottle with you for a deposit if you can't or don't want to drink it. We felt warmly welcomed and had a great conversation with the landlady (hence the knowledge about the 5th generation). Here you can see the passion of the couple (the man is the cook) and the contact with the guest. When we are in the area again this is our number one stop.

If you want to eat traditional Papenburg food this is the ONLY place to eat. Really fantastic food and wonderful service. Highly recommend going here.

Quaint inn with the look of the 50s, good food and brisk service. We were there with 42 people and it worked really well. Gladly again.
